Noviha, since 2005, has provided financial support to impoverish students. The purpose of the fund is to promote academic excellence by supporting gifted and promising students who are struggling to pursue their Senior Secondary School education because of parental poverty. . We are proud to say most of these students have gone on to higher education including one who is in medical school.. Noviha views sponsoring of children as one of the most rewarding, efficient and probably the best pound for pound Noviha program which rewards the donor, the recipient and the community. Noviha wants to encourage individuals and other benefactors to use its platform in supporting poor children by sponsoring a child.

Ill-health, disability and financial hardship underpin our welfare activities. Noviha supports its members and the general public by organizing away days to the seaside, and other social events such as birthday celebrations, marriages, and also on those sad occasions, by visiting members who are sick or have lost loved ones and relatives.. Noviha has identified the prevention of isolation of its elderly members as one of its priority projects. Noviha has organised many social functions such as the Hogbetsotso Cultural festival, Dinner and Dance and Christmas parties to reduce social exclusion. Noviha functions have been hugely popular with members and the general public alike. Noviha also organises frequent social outings for its elderly and the youth.
